Donna Esher, owner of Palm Island Glassworks, grew up in Philadelphia. Since childhood, she has expressed her artistic creativity in the form of sculpting, gardening, mosaics and painting.
From 1985 to 2003, Donna was the owner and sole artist of Donatelli Designs. Her body of work consisted of hand sculpted functional art with a tropical theme in the images of flowers and exotic birds. Donna attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia,Penn. in addition to attending technical workshops at Vitrum Studio in Beltsville, Maryland.
Today, her glass designs and relaxing color palette continue to reflect her love of nature while combining contemporary style with a touch of whimsy.
