Ron Schuster is a self taught glass artist working in the artist colony of Brown County, Indiana. He been working with glass for over thirty years.
These beautiful paperweights have been created using dichroic glass. Dichroic glass is glass containing multiple micro layers of metal oxides.
The glass appears to be different colors when viewed from different angles. It was originally developed by NASA for use as an interference filter. The colors are brillant, sharp and beautiful.
