Wayan Rendah was born on June 17,1973. The oldest of seven children, he started sculpting at the age of eight, learning from his father.
He likes to develop abstract figures inspired by the form and texture of the wood. He's learned to combine traditional themes with modern poses and more sensual shapes.
Wayan lives in a small village in Bali, with his wife,daughter and son, sculpting with twenty other carvers.
